Exporting your data

Formats

CSV and Excel give you one row per response, which is what you want for your own analysis. PDF and PowerPoint give you the summary as a document to hand somebody. SPSS is for statistical software.

Actual or numeric values

Actual values write the option text a respondent saw. Numeric values write the weight behind each option, which is what statistical software expects.

Large exports

A large export is rendered in the background rather than while you wait, and you are told when it is ready. Finished files are listed under Exports, where you can download them again without waiting for a fresh render.
