About SurveyAxis
SurveyAxis is a survey platform for people who need a real answer rather than a chart. We care about the parts that decide whether the answer is any good: a survey people will actually finish, questions that mean the same thing to everybody reading them, and results you can interrogate rather than just look at.
What we believe about surveys
A shorter survey beats a thorough one. Every extra question costs you responses, and the people who drop out are rarely a random sample of the people you asked. Logic exists so that nobody answers a question that does not apply to them.
How you ask decides what you learn. Asking people to rate ten things gets you ten high ratings. Asking which is best and which is worst gets you an order you can act on. The product nudges toward the question type that will actually separate your options.
Anonymity is a promise, not a setting. When a survey is collected anonymously, no IP address and no browser is stored at all — not hidden, not stored and unused. It has to be decided before you send, because a response already collected cannot be made anonymous afterwards.
How it is built
Everything runs on servers we operate. Uploads, generated exports and cached results sit on our own disks rather than being handed to a third party, and background work runs in the same process as the application rather than through an external queue. Fewer moving parts means fewer places your data can end up.
